We consider renting suitable properties directly from landlords under an agreed arrangement. Each proposal is assessed individually, with the intended use, responsibilities, permissions and contractual terms established before proceeding.
We rent the property from you and operate it under an agreed contract.
These are different arrangements with different responsibilities, permissions and contracts. They are not interchangeable, and which one is appropriate, if any, depends on your property.

How it works
How the arrangement works.
- In a rent-to-rent arrangement, we rent a suitable property from the landlord and operate it under an agreed contract. This is different from management, where we act on the owner’s behalf.
- Each proposal is assessed individually. The intended use, responsibilities, permissions and contractual terms are established before we proceed.

What we look at before we agree anything.
- The property, its location and whether it is suitable for the intended use.
- The permissions and requirements that apply, which can differ across the UK and between local areas.
- The local operational support available for the property.
- The responsibilities on each side and the contractual terms.
Requirements are not the same throughout the UK. We ask about them, but they remain your responsibility to check, and we recommend taking independent advice where you are unsure.

How responsibilities and rental terms are agreed.
- Rental terms and the contract are set out in your proposal and agreed before proceeding.
- Responsibilities for each side are made explicit in writing.
- We do not promise that we will rent any property. Each opportunity is assessed individually, and the necessary checks must be complete first.

Service availability is confirmed following a review of your property, location and requirements. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to an agreement.
